Fahad Pirmohamed returned to Tanzania in 2005 after completing his university education in the United States and Canada, bringing with him a global perspective and a strong work ethic. He initially focused on logistics and quarry operations, gaining hands-on experience in some of the most demanding sectors of the business.

He later took over management of the company’s large-scale rice farming operations in Mbarali, where he played a key role in improving agricultural output and operational efficiency. Today, as Managing Director of Highland Estates Limited, Fahad oversees all operations across Iringa, Dodoma, and Morogoro, with a strategic focus on growth, sustainability, and performance across multiple sectors.

After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from University, I joined Highland Estates Limited in 2016 to continue the legacy of our family business. Under the mentorship of my father and the company’s Chairman, Haroon Pirmohamed, I developed a strong foundation in business operations and leadership.

Today, I oversee the administration of Highland Estates from our headquarters in Dar es Salaam. I lead the Trading and Transport divisions, both of which have experienced consistent growth under my direction. My focus remains on driving operational efficiency, building strategic partnerships, and expanding our presence in the region’s logistics and commodity markets.
