Ubena zomozi with a total area of 5,110, hectares is located in Coastal region 24 kilometres from Chalinze and the farm borders Morogoro road highway in the south.

The land is of a clay black soil covered by savannah grass and receives average rain fall of 1118mm annually. The Government through the Presidential Parastatal Sector Reform Commission (PSRC) privatized the estate in 1998.

Ubena Estate also has a large-scale spinning and weaving plant to which we produce high quality ropes, twines, bung cloth and carpets. Our fibre is also held in high regard and we continuously supply regions in the Middle East, Central Africa and South Africa.
